We are Walking like MADD for Jake on April 19, 2025. Family and Friends will be walking in Tallahassee, Irvine, CA, Burlington, VT, Victoria, TX, Las Cruces, NM, and other cities in Arizona, Arkansas, California, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Montana, Washington and Washington, DC.

We are walking in honor and memory of Jake Boykin.  Jake was hit and killed by a drunk driver in September 2023 while training for an upcoming race.  Jake had recently won the National Collegiate Championship Club time trial in May 2023.  He moved to Tallahassee in July of 2022 to pursue his PhD in muscle physiology    

Jake had the words “don’t skim your story” written on his white board. It was a reminder for him to live life fully and go full gas.
